Fate
People call it fate, revenge, or just damnation
Maybe it's called hatred, scarceness, or even death
I call it a melody, a songbird, or a dove
And I, a hundred percent, call it love
Fate is a crewel, twisted thing
As for some odd reason, it always sings
Of evil, or kindness, perhaps all of above
Of lateness greatness, or even a shove
Or a push of luck when you surge through something
Allowing you to surpass even the smallest of rings
So, please, fate, allow one more day
For me to be able to waste my time away
